Dr. Tobias Mast studied law with a focus on information and media law. He completed his doctorate on the state’s public information activities and worked as a clerk at the German Federal Constitutional Court. At the Leibniz Institute for Media Research | Hans-Bredow-Institut (HBI), he leads the research programme “Regulatory Structures and the Emergence of Rules in Online Spaces”. The German Bundestag appointed him as an expert advisor for the Digital Services Act and elected him to the advisory board of the Coordination Centre for Digital Services at the Federal Network Agency.
