Srividya Kalyanaraman joined the Institute of Labor Economics (Institut zur Zukunft der Arbeit, IZA) in Bonn, Germany, as a Resident Research Affiliate in October 2020. She is a German Chancellor Fellow (Bundeskanzler-Stipendiatin) of Alexander-von-Humboldt-Stiftung 2020-2021. She joined IZA after spending a decade as a tech and business journalist in India and the USA. She received her M.A in Business and Economics Journalism from New York University, and her research interests are skilled migration policy, human mobility and the future of work.
