Sinéad Thielen (she/her) is a Trainee at European Union office of the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung since March 2025. Prior to this, she gained experience as an assistant to a Member of the Bavarian Parliament and as a trainee in the Commission for the Environment, Climate Change and Energy at the European Committee of the Regions. She studied Political Science and Economics at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich and holds a Master’s Degree in Environment and Resource Management with a Specialisation in Energy and Climate from VU Amsterdam. She speaks fluent English, German and Dutch and is currently improving her French and Italian.
