Robert Habeck has been federal chairman of ALLIANCE 90 / THE GREENS since 2018. Born in Lübeck, he studied philosophy, did his doctorate and was successful as a writer together with his wife. Then he went into politics. From 2012 to 2018 he was Minister of the Energy Transition and Deputy Prime Minister of Schleswig-Holstein. He has given up the office in order to make Bündnis 90/Die Grünen a powerful alliance together with all those involved.
