
Raphael Tietmeyer is a Senior Analyst for sustainability disclosure and sustainable finance at Climate & Company. In this role, he has led and contributed to projects on the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) and their implementation, the harmonization of the EU Sustainable Finance Framework (including CSRD, SFDR, and the EU Taxonomy), and Transition Finance. Before joining Climate & Company full-time, Raphael worked as an External Advisor on various projects related to international sustainability disclosure regulation. During his doctoral studies at the University of Hamburg, he conducted empirical research on the links and consequences of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) disclosure, performance, and risks, while also being part of the research group on sustainable finance. He holds a Bachelor's degree in International Business Administration from the University of Twente and a Master's degree in Global Business and Sustainability from Erasmus University, Rotterdam.
