Omid Nouripour is the Federal Chairman of Alliance 90/The Greens since 2022.

He is a member of Alliance 90/The Greens since 1996; from 2002 to 2009 he was Spokesman for the party's Federal Working Group on Migration & Flight; from 1999 to 2003 he was chairman of the Green Youth Hesse; from 2002 to 2006 he was member of the national board of Alliance 90/The Greens; since 2006 he is member of the German Bundestag.
