Nicolae Ștefănuță is a Romanian politician who has been serving as a Member of the European Parliament since 2019. In the ninth legislative term, he served on the Committee on Budgets (BUDG) and on the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety (ENVI).

In March 2023, Nicolae left the Save Romania Union party and the Renew Europe parliamentary group for the Greens–European Free Alliance as an independent MEP.
