Neele Amalie Hartel (she/her/hers) works as Trainee at the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung European Union | Global dialogue since October 2025. In this role she supports the Heads of Programmes and all the Team with their projects, events and publications.

Prior to joining the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung in Brussels, she worked for the Munich Security Conference in Berlin, the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung, Washington, DC office and the Center for Global Studies in Bonn.

Neele holds a Master's degree in International Relations from the Free University Berlin, the University Potsdam and the Humboldt-University of Berlin and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Sociology from the University Bonn. She particularly focused on conflict resolution, transatlantic relations and EU foreign policy in her studies. She speaks fluent English and German, intermediate French and is learning Portuguese.
