Matteo Signorini (he/him) is a Trainee in the Future of Europe and International Politics Team at the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung European Union | Global Dialogue office in Brussels. He joined the team in September 2026.
Prior to joining the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung, Matteo was a trainee in the Director’s Office at the European Union Institute for Security Studies (EUISS) in Paris, supporting foreign policy and security research, events, and institute-wide coordination. Before that, he was an intern in the Executive Director’s Office at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Paris, working on internal communications, policy coordination, and corporate matters.
His interests lie primarily in EU foreign and security policy, transatlantic affairs, digital policy, and communications.
Matteo holds an M.A. in European Affairs – Europe in the World from Sciences Po Paris and a bachelor’s degree in International Politics, Law and Economics from the University of Milan. He is fluent in Italian, English, and French.
