Lena Schilling, born 2001, was the lead candidate for the Austrian Greens and will be a member of the tenth European Parliament. Lena studies political science at the University of Vienna and is a climate activist engaged in the Fridays for Future movement and other groups. 2022, Lena published a book telling the story of youth self-empowerment, and why thousands of young people are becoming politically active.
