Karam Nachar  is Executive Editor and Director at Al-Jumhuriya Collective, an independent media and culture organization founded and led by a group of Syrian journalists, writers, and academics. Through its own digital media platform, aljumhuriya.net, the collective provides original in-depth reportage, commentary, and analysis of Syrian politics, society, and culture. In addition, our training and support program equips aspiring Syrian journalists, inside the country and among the refugee communities, with the knowledge and skills necessary to carry out their vital and challenging work.
