From 2020 to 2022, she designed and launched the Obama Foundation’s “Leaders Europe'' Program, an intensive leadership development curriculum for activists, elected officials, NGO leaders and start-up founders. Through skill-building workshops, policy dialogues, peer-to-peer learning, and leadership coaching, the program annually supports 35 young Europeans to advance transformative social change in their countries and across the continent. There, she brought together US and European policymakers and civil society leaders to tackle shared challenges to democracy, with a strong focus on migration, refugee, and integration policy, and on questions of national memory and historical reckoning.
Hannah’s previous work experience includes several years as transnational liaison to the Mexico office at Hispanics in Philanthropy, an organization dedicated to strengthening the Latino non-profit sector in the US and Latin America. She also spent time with LEAD, the Mercator Capacity Building Center for Leadership and Advocacy in Berlin, researching new models of leadership in German diplomacy.
