Chheang Vannarith

Dr. Chheang Vannarith is a public policy analyst, strategic foresight expert, and social innovator. He was honored Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2013. Currently he is serving as Chairman of the Advisory Council of the National Assembly of Cambodia and Founder and Chairman of Angkor Social Innovation Park (ASIP). Prior to these appointments, he was the President of the Asian Vision Institute, a visiting fellow at ISEAS-Yusof Ishak Institute, Southeast Asia Consultant at the Nippon Foundation, Lecturer at the University of Leeds in the UK and Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, Executive Director at the Cambodian Institute for Cooperation and Peace, and Assistant to Defense Minister of Cambodia. He received his PhD in Asia Pacific Studies from the Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University in Japan, leadership certificate from the East-West Center in the US, MA in International Relations from the International University of Japan, and BA in International Relations from the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam.
