Carla Gisele Batista is a feminist activist, active in Articulação de Mulheres Brasileiras, the Articulation of Brazilian Women - AMB.

Educator and researcher by training, she holds a Master in Women's, Gender and Feminism Studies from Universidade Federal da Bahia.

She lives in Recife, northeastern Brazil.
