Ali Sibai is Information Security Coordinator at the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung's Global Support for Democracy Unit, based in Brussels. He is an Information Security specialist with 7 years of experience working with various local and international organizations with an emphasis on human rights and freedom of expression. Moreover, Ali has been delivering workshops reaching more than 1000+ activists. Ali is specialized in conducting information security assessments for small non-profits, the first step in enhancing their security posture. During his previous work, he supported political activists, journalists, human rights defenders, vulnerable, and marginalized populations across the region from underprivileged youth, Women, LGBT groups, and refugees.

Ali holds a BS in Information Management Systems and a minor in Computer Science from the Lebanese American University. He also was a fellow at the International Institute for Political and Economic Studies at Georgetown University.
