Aifric Campbell is the author of The Love Makers (2021), a book about our technological seduction. Previous works: On the Floor, (longlisted for the International Orange Prize 2012 (now the Women's Prize for Fiction),The Loss Adjustor and The Semantics of Murder. A former investment banker at Morgan Stanley, Aifric became the first woman managing director on the London trading floor. She has written for the Wall Street Journal, the Irish Times, the Sunday Telegraph, the Guardian and more. She teaches at Imperial College London.
