Rasmus Randig joined the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung in September 2022 as Head of the International Democracy Programme. Previously he worked at the German Federal Foreign Office on democracy support in the area of crisis prevention and stabilisation. Rasmus studied Economic and Social History at the Universities of Glasgow and Konstanz. He is fluent in German, English and Spanish and speaks intermediate French and Turkish.
