Stephanie Aeffner is a Member of the German Bundestag for the Alliance 90/The Greens parliamentary group. She is a full member of the Committee for Labor and Social Affairs and her parliamentary group's rapporteur for disability policy and social welfare. She is a deputy member of the three committees for health, law, and education, research and technology assessment. In 2016, she was appointed by Winfried Kretschmann as the Disability Commissioner for the state of Baden-Württemberg. In an honorary capacity, she has been active for many years with the German Green Party and the self-determined living movement. In 2021 she entered the Bundestag for the constituency of Pforzheim and Enzkreis.
