Estefanny Molina Martínez is a lawyer at Women's Link Worldwide. She supports the legal team in the development of legal strategies, in the incidence of cases in the areas of violence, discrimination and sexual and reproductive rights of women and girls. Estefanny has been a consultant on gender and human rights. Previously she worked as a researcher and professional academic assistant at the Centre for Human Rights of the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador.
Estefanny received her law degree from Catholic Pontifical University in Ecuador and her Master in International Protection of Human Rights from the University of Alcalá in Spain.
Currently, she enrolled in an interuniversity PhD program in Interdisciplinary Gender Studies at the University of Alcalá, where she is doing research on protection for women being victims of trafficking for purposes of sexual exploitation from a gender perspective.
