Arne Behrensen studied political science at the Free University Berlin and has worked in international politics for Members of the German Bundestag and at an international NGO. After the birth of his first child he started riding a cargo bike and in 2013 became a cargo bike project manager for the VerkehrsclubDeutschland - VCD (Traffic Club Germany). In 2015 he founded the platform cargobike.jetzt that promotes the private and commercial use of cargo bikes through information, projects and consultancy. He is a partner of the EU funded CityChangerCargoBike project, a member of the European Cargo Bike Expert group and the conductor of the European Cargo Bike Industry Survey.
