Alexandra Geese is a Member of the European Parliament for The Greens/EFA since 2019. In the ninth legislative term, she served as a full member of the Committees for Internal Market (IMCO) and Consumer Protection and the Budget committee (BUDG). Her political focus is on digital policy, fundamental rights, as well as gender budgeting. She negotiated the “Digital Services Act” which regulates digital platforms and social networks.

Before being elected, Alexandra lived in Italy for 22 years and worked as interpreter at the European Parliament.
