Marion Regina Müller hase been the Head of Office of the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung India in Delhi since January 2018. With an educational background in Socio Cultural Studies and Arts as well as Gender, Governance and Development she has been working with international and local NGOs and government institutions in Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Pakistan since 1999.
She has joined the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung in 2005 and has represented the foundation also in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Engaging with local communities, civil society, think tanks and government representatives her thematic focus has been on ecology and resource politics, strengthening of women's and human rights, supporting of women's political representation, good governance and strengthening of peace processes. Core of her work has been to include the needs and interests of diverse stakeholders into political dialogue and participatory decision making, especially those of local communities, women and minorities.
