Context
The Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung and its local partners work to advance human rights, ecological justice, and gender democracy in over 30 countries worldwide, often in volatile, conflict and post-conflict, or authoritarian contexts characterised by shrinking democratic spaces. Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung staff globally is often exposed to high-pressure working and living conditions, including security risks, legal restrictions, and divided societies.
To support the mental health and wellbeing of Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung staff worldwide, the Foundation seeks to contract a specialised provider to deliver confidential, anonymous, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed psychosocial support services online or in person. This tender aims to identify a provider that can address the challenges faced by our staff, including trauma, stress, secondary stress, compassion fatigue, cross-cultural issues, and burnout by providing accessible, high-quality psychosocial support to Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung staff globally (seconded and national staff in country offices) and contributing to the prevention and early identification of psychosocial risks.
