Alberto Maresca is a Ph.D. candidate in Political Science at Ghent University and a fellow at the United Nations University Institute on Comparative Regional Studies (UNU-CRIS). He has been a visiting researcher at FLACSO (Argentina), University of the Republic (Uruguay), Sun Yat-sen University (China), and the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (Brazil). His doctoral research analyzes Latin American foreign policies toward the Global South.
