Aline Burni holds a PhD in Political Science from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (Brazil) and specialises in Brazilian politics, EU policy, and foreign affairs. Currently a Research Fellow at ODI Europe, she has extensive experience in research, strategic advisory work, and policy analysis across the academic, policy, and think tank sectors in Brazil and Europe. She has authored or co-authored more than 40 academic and non-academic publications, including media analyses, published in both Brazil and Europe.
