Fernanda Hopenhaym Cabrera is a business and human rights specialist with over twenty years of experience in human rights, economic justice, and gender justice. For the past fifteen years, she has focused on promoting corporate and financial accountability through research, community organizing, and international advocacy.
She is an independent expert, a member of the UN Working Group on Business and Human Rights, and Co-Executive Director of the Project on Organizing, Development, Education and Research (PODER).
Fernanda serves on the Boards of Directors of EarthRights International, All Out, and SOMO, and is part of the advisory network of the International Business and Human Rights Award Foundation. She is also a guest lecturer at Stanford Law School, the University of Zurich, the University of the Basque Country, and Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico.
