Cláudia Azevedo is a Brussels-based consultant specialising in EU trade, industrial policy and sustainable development, with a focus on trade and investment agreements, clean supply chain partnerships, and the distributional impacts of EU regulatory policies on developing countries and emerging economies. She is Lead for Sustainable Trade Policy (EU) at Tulip Consulting and an independent consultant, working with international organisations, EU institutions and civil society organisations. She previously led the Green Trade Programme at the think tank Europe Jacques Delors. Earlier in her career, she gained experience at the European Commission's Directorate-General for Trade and at the Permanent Delegation of Portugal to the OECD in Paris. She holds an advanced LL.M. in Public International Law (Cum Laude) from Leiden University.
