Samanta Funes is a lawyer, feminist and activist for the rights of women. She is the co-founder of the Corps of Feminist Advocates of Córdoba.

At present, she is a fellow of CLACSO (Latin American Council of Social Sciences) in the diploma "Human Rights and Sexual Diversity". She is also part of research groups in the area of Philosophy of Law, being her current line of research the analysis of public policies and related regulations from a gender perspective.
