Patsili Toledo is a Professor for public law at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. In 2009 she wrote recommendations concerning the processes of criminalization of femicide and femicide in Latin American countries, which were published by the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Mexico. She is a published author of several articles concerning this process, amongst others for the Yearbook of Human Rights, at the Faculty of Law, University of Chile, and the book Criminalization of femicide in Chile: An open discussion of the Chilean Network against Domestic and Sexual Violence. She has also participated in various seminars and forums on femicide / femicide organized by the women's movements in Chile, Honduras and Mexico.
