Lyse Mauvais is a freelance environmental journalist from France. She reported for four years on environmental and humanitarian issues in the MENA region, based in various countries, including Syria, Jordan and Iraq. She is now back in Europe to cover stories about climate change, biodiversity and agriculture. Her work has been published by a wide range of outlets including Mongabay, Reporterre, EuObserver, Middle East Eye or Al-Jazeera.
