Lorena Astudillo is a feminist, activist and advocate. She has extensively investigated femicide, femicide punishment and femicide suicide.

She is the spokeswoman and member of the Red Chilena contra la violencia hacia las mujeres, an organisation that has been working from a feminist and human rights perspective since 1990, for affirming women's power and autonomy.
