Judith Kohlenberger is a researcher at the Institute for Social Policy at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU), Senior Researcher at the Austrian Institute for International Affairs (oiip) and Associated Policy Fellow at the Jacques Delors Centre, Hertie School Berlin. She is a member of the Integration Council of the City of Vienna, co-editor of Z’Flucht (Zeitschrift für Flucht- und Flüchtlingsforschung) and host of the podcast Aufnahmebereit. 

Her book Das Fluchtparadox (2022) was nominated for the German Non-Fiction Award. Gegen die neue Härte (2024) is her most recent book.
