The aim of the Fondation de l'Écologie Politique is to encourage the gathering of ideas around a project for the ecological transformation of society, and thus to nurture policies likely to open up a new space for human progress and civilisation. The aim of this transformation project is to bring about far-reaching changes to economic and social organisation, production and consumption patterns, and the relationship between man and nature.

To achieve this, the Fondation de l'Écologie Politique provides food for thought on the future, while supporting concrete awareness-raising and educational initiatives. It mobilises intellectual resources, increases exchanges, meetings, debates, studies and publications, encourages initiatives and opens up the field of research to encourage innovation. In this way, the Foundation contributes to the development of the theoretical and practical corpus of a new model of society that ecologists wish to implement in all sectors of public action.
