Dr. Dean Vuletic is a historian focusing on contemporary Europe and specialising in the Eurovision Song Contest, also as a media commentator and public speaker. He taught the world's first university course on Eurovision at New York University and, as a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow at the University of Vienna, wrote the first academic book on the history of the ESC, "Postwar Europe and the Eurovision Song Contest"(London: Bloomsbury, 2018). He holds a PhD in modern European history from Columbia University and is currently teaching at the University of Luxembourg.
