David Cormand is a French politician and Member of the European Parliament for The Greens/EFA since 2019. In the ninth legislative term, he has served on the Committee on Budgets (BUDG) and the Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection (IMCO). In 2020, he also joined the Special Committee on Artificial Intelligence in a Digital Age.

A member of Europe Ecology – The Greens (EELV), David was its national secretary from 2016 to 2019. He also worked as a regional councillor of Haute-Normandie and as a municipal councillor of Canteleu.
