Anna Weiß is a Consultant and has been working with Consentec since December 2019. Having studied at the Universities of Cologne and Tuebingen as well as at the University of Monterrey she holds a M.Sc. in Economics with the focus topics of "Energy Economics“ and "Design and Behavior“. Among others, she was honored with the Dean’s Award for her outstanding academic achievements.

Anna works on issues linked to the design of the German and European energy markets as well as to the support and system integration of renewable energies. She also focuses on the development of network tariffs, electricity market-modelling as well as congestion management in international electricity trading. Furthermore, Anna deals with forecasts regarding the system adequacy of distributing networks in the context of sector coupling.
