Andreas Rüdinger is an independent consultant and associate research fellow at the Institute for Sustainable Development and International Relations (IDDRI), specialized in the field of energy and climate policies. He participated in the French national energy transition debate as a member of the Expert Committee and advisor of the chairman, Laurence Tubiana. His expertise covers the multiple aspects of energy transition strategies and policies at the local, national and European level: energy efficiency policies, support mechanisms and market integration of Renewable Energies, financing instruments, as well as governance issues and public participation.
Andreas holds a double Master degree in Political Sciences and International Relations from Sciences Po Bordeaux and the University of Stuttgart. He is a guest lecturer at Sciences Po Paris (PSIA), HEC Business School and AgroParisTech.
