Michael Jacobs is Professor of Political Economy in the Sheffield Political Economy Research Institute (SPERI) and the Department of Politics and International Relations at the University of Sheffield. He is an economist and political theorist, specialising in post-neoliberal political economy, climate change and environmental policy, and green and social democratic thought. In the past Michael Jacobs has been Director and founder of the IPPR Commission on Economic Justice and advisor in the British government and to other governments.
