Dr. Aleksandra Gawlikowska-Fyk specializes in the European Union's energy policy and regulations, with particular emphasis on the internal electricity market, energy security and low-carbon transformation. For five years, she was the head of the Energy Project and then the International Economic Relations and Energy Policy Programme at the Polish Institute of International Affairs, one of the most recognized analytical teams in Central Europe. Previously, as a former employee of the Energy Regulatory Office, she dealt with the issues of domestic energy sector and regional electricity markets. She has a PhD in Economics and MA in Administration. She is the author of many publications on energy, where she combines political and economic perspectives. She regularly comments on energy issues in media.
