Oksana Aliieva worked as Climate Change and Energy Policy Programme Coordinator at the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung Kyiv - Ukraine Office from 2016 to 2023. Her professional interests focus on climate change mitigation and transition to green energy as a major step in reducing emissions, as well as on the introduction of climate justice into public discourse. She began her work in the field of environmental protection and climate change in 2011 after receiving her Master's Degree in Environmental Biotechnology. Since then, she has worked in the civil society and international technical assistance sectors. In addition to environmental and climate priorities, Oksana pays great attention to the need to take gender issues into account in the energy and environmental sectors of Ukraine and to the gender implications of climate and energy policy.
