
Phillip Käding has been the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung's Head of Economics and Finance Policy Division since the beginning of 2024. In this role, he deals with a broad range of economic policy issues, from the sustainable financial system to the industry of the future. His work in the department is characterized by the guiding principle of the ecological-social market economy.
Before joining the Foundation, Phillip Käding worked as a project manager in sustainability consulting for municipal and private companies and in the financial sector. He studied political science and economics at Zeppelin University in Friedrichshafen and in Monterrey, Mexico, as well as development economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
