Henrik Hallgren is the Chairman of think tank Eurasia Forum in Stockholm/Berlin, where he works as an analyst and adviser on East European and Central Asian politics and economic affairs. Fields of special interest include regional conflict history, political economy, governance issues and the role of the private sector in development and conflict. He is also programme manager for the Eurasia region at the International Council of Swedish Industry (NIR), where he currently primarily focuses on Ukraine and Central Asia, and where he just concluded a one year field and desk research on the economy of Afghanistan, published in cooperation with SIPRI.
