Lorenzo Cresti
Researcher on industrial policy and co-founder of ‘Rethinking Economics Bologna’

Lorenzo Cresti (1993), Italy, has a Master’s degree in Economics and Economic Policy from the University of Bologna. He is doing research on industrial policy as a tool to address the polarised development affecting the eurozone. Lorenzo is a co-founder of ‘Rethinking Economics Bologna’, the local group of the international students’ initiative for pluralism in economics and he has been a member of ‘Link-Independent Students Bologna’, an Italian political student organisation. In 2017 he participated in the capacity building ‘Why we’re stuck and how we want to get out of this’ organised by the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung European Union.
