Halfdan Abrahamsen holds a Master's degree in English and Media. During his studies, he focused on environmental policy and environmental writing and philosophy. Halfdan has previously worked in the Danish state as Information Manager and Product Manager in the IT/educational sector. However, his interest in renewable energy and environmental policy led him to the island of Ærø, which is implementing an ambitious energy policy. Halfdan spends much of his time mediating the fully electric "Ellen" E-ferry project, the island's local renewable energy installations, and the continued municipal progress towards zero-emission operations.
