Lara Wodtke worked as Deputy Head of the Global Support for Democracy Unit and Head of Programme - International Democracy at Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung European Union until January 2022. Previously, she was Personal Advisor to Barbara Unmüßig, President of the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung, working closely on the topics of human rights, civic space, intersectional feminism and gender democracy, as well as global governance and the socio-ecological transformation. She holds a BA in European Studies and International Relations from the University of Portsmouth and an MA in International Studies and Diplomacy from SOAS, University of London.
