Investor-state Dispute Settlement under TTIP

The Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) could include rules on investment protection, including so called investor- state dispute settlement (ISDS). The EU Commission’s negotiating mandate for TTIP and the US model bilateral investment treaty both indicate a preference for including ISDS in TTIP.
